A central LBI borough with a balanced mix of residential blocks, small businesses, beach access, and casual restaurants. Surf City is less quiet than the northern end of the island but less commercially intense than Beach Haven. Its location and scale make it one of LBI's more accessible, middle-of-the-island beach towns.
