A beach town at the southern end of Monmouth County, bordered by the Manasquan Inlet and known for surfing, fishing, and a strong local identity. The downtown along Main Street remains active year-round, while the beachfront draws both families and surfers during the summer season. Compared with Point Pleasant Beach across the inlet, Manasquan feels more locally rooted and less centered around amusement tourism.
